Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Texas Plumbing Pros website and to any plumbing or HVAC services you request from us. “Texas Plumbing Pros,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to our company. “You” means the person using the website or requesting services.

By using our website or requesting our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or request services.

2. Use of Our Website

You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems
  • Interfere with the website’s operation or security
  • Use automated tools to copy, scrape, or overload the site
  • Use the site to send spam or harmful content
  • Violate any applicable law

We may restrict or block access to the website at any time if we believe these Terms are being violated.

3. Service Requests, Quotes, and Estimates

Submitting a request through our website, email, or other channels does not create a binding service agreement. A service agreement forms only when we confirm the work and you approve the price and scope, in writing or by another method we accept.

Quotes and estimates are based on the information available when they are provided. Actual conditions, such as hidden damage, code violations, or unexpected problems behind walls, floors, or underground, may change the scope or cost of the work. If that happens, we will explain the issue and get your approval before continuing with any additional work.

Unless stated otherwise, quotes are valid for a limited time, and pricing may change if the quote expires, the scope changes, or material costs change.

4. Scheduling and Access

When we schedule an appointment, we will work to arrive within the time window we give you. Delays can happen because of emergencies, weather, traffic, or the length of earlier jobs, and we will keep you updated when we can.

You agree to provide safe, clear access to the work area and to any equipment, water shutoffs, electrical panels, and other areas we need. An adult (18 or older) should be present at the start of residential service, or you should arrange access with us in advance. For commercial properties, you agree to coordinate access with your manager or staff.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as early as possible. We may charge a reasonable trip or cancellation fee if our technician arrives and cannot perform the work because of no access, no one being present, or a late cancellation, as explained when you schedule.

5. Emergency Services

If you request emergency service, we will prioritize your request and work to respond as quickly as possible. Response times depend on your location, weather, and the number of urgent calls we are handling, and we cannot guarantee a specific arrival time. Emergency, after-hours, weekend, and holiday service may involve different pricing, which we will explain before work begins.

If you smell gas, leave the property immediately and contact your gas utility or 911. Our website and forms are not a substitute for emergency services.

6. Pricing and Payment

You agree to pay the agreed price for the services performed, plus any approved additional work, parts, permits, and applicable taxes. Payment is due as stated on your estimate or invoice, and unless otherwise agreed, upon completion of the work.

We accept the payment methods we confirm when you schedule. For larger projects, we may require a deposit or progress payments, which we will explain in advance.

Late or unpaid balances may be subject to reasonable late fees and collection costs to the extent allowed by law. If you dispute a charge, please contact us promptly so we can review it.

7. Permits, Codes, and Property Conditions

Some projects require permits and inspections under local codes. Where required, we will explain who handles them and any related fees. You are responsible for telling us about known hazards or conditions at the property, such as asbestos, mold, lead, unsafe structures, buried lines, or previous repairs.

If we find conditions that are unsafe or not up to code, we may recommend corrections and may stop or decline work until the issue is addressed.

8. Warranties and Workmanship

We take pride in our work and stand behind it. Warranty terms for specific services, parts, and equipment will be provided in your estimate, invoice, or service agreement. Manufacturer warranties on products and equipment are provided by the manufacturer and are separate from our workmanship terms.

Warranties do not cover damage or problems caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, freezing, unauthorized repairs or modifications by others, normal wear and tear, or conditions outside the scope of our work. To make a warranty claim, contact us promptly and allow us a reasonable opportunity to inspect and correct the issue.

9. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Give us accurate information about the problem and property
  • Protect valuables, fragile items, and personal belongings near the work area
  • Keep pets and children safely away from the work area
  • Tell us about any safety concerns
  • Maintain your plumbing and HVAC systems as recommended, such as changing filters and protecting pipes from freezing

10. Website Content and Information

The information on our website is for general purposes only. It is not a substitute for a professional inspection, diagnosis, or advice about your specific situation. Articles, FAQs, and tips may not apply to your property or local code requirements.

We try to keep the website accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all content, pricing references, service areas, or availability are complete or error-free. Services may vary by location and may change without notice.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and design, belongs to Texas Plumbing Pros or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

12. Reviews and Customer Content

If you submit a review, photo, or other content to us or through our website, you confirm that it is truthful and that you have the right to share it. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use it for our business, including on our website and in marketing, but we will not publish your full name without your permission.

13. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website may link to third-party sites, such as review platforms, social media, financing partners, or manufacturers. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies, or services. Using them is at your own risk.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. This section does not limit any warranty we expressly provide for completed services.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Texas Plumbing Pros and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or our services, including loss of use, loss of income, or loss of data.

Our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service, except where the law does not allow such a limit. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless Texas Plumbing Pros and its owners, employees, and contractors from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the website, or inaccurate information or unsafe conditions you failed to disclose to us, to the extent allowed by law.

17. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

We would like to resolve any concern directly. If you have a problem with our service or these Terms, please contact us first and give us a reasonable chance to make it right.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you agree to that venue, unless the law requires otherwise.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. Terms in a signed estimate or service agreement for a specific job take priority over these general Terms for that job.

19. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining parts will stay in effect.
